Introduction of sample is a key element in GC-analysis, make sure your injector is clean in order to avoid discrimination. Check the liner every week to make sure it does not have deposits of charred compounds, non-volatiles oils or small pieces of septum. If any of these are found, change the liner for a clean deactivated one. Take the opportunity and make sure the injector septum is in good condition.
